Jewelry Organizer

Hey it's me! I know, long time since I posted.  So since we moved into our new apartment (WAY back in April), I knew I wanted a better way to organize and display my jewelry.  So where else did I turn to but Pinterest! There are LOTS of ideas on there, however, one stuck out to me and it seemed easy enough to make.  So I headed out and purchased my materials and it all came together very well! I'm extremely pleased with it!

Here's how mine turned out! The shelf is great for putting my hoop earrings and bracelets on.  And it's so organized! On to the next pinterest project! :)

Hubby's Bday!

So much has been going on in my life lately! I haven't been able to update my blog! I wanted to give a recap of the beginning of my favorite time of the year! 

Last weekend was Ricky's birthday as well as the beginning of football season.   It started out on Tuesday.  I decided I wanted to make Ricky's favorite cookies, which is a special recipe from one of his mothers cookbooks.  So we went over there to make them.  Here I am with my two helpers.

Then on Ricky's actual bday he wanted to do dinner and bowling with friends.

Saturday was Cowboy football!!! We have split season  tickets (he's OU, I'm OSU).  But notice he's wearing an OSU shirt? This should show you how much he loves me :)

It was a great weekend and I'm so glad he is home now to celebrate! Hopefully lots of birthdays to come!
